How long will the appointment take With our advanced Magenta teeth whitening treatment, most will only require one visit and your results are visibly lighter for up to 18 months. The Treatment- You can rest assured that the Magenta teeth whitening procedure is only carried out by our Harley St qualified Cosmetic Technicians. After an initial consultation we will discuss your expectations and possible results. The treatment is non-invasive and begins with an application of our whitening gel to the front teeth. The Magenta LED then activates the product and immediately begins the lightening process by swiftly penetrating the enamel of the teeth. A power booster treatment takes 20 minutes and is usually for previously lightened teeth, and a full treatment consists of two to three 20 minute applications. It really is possible to achieve dramatic results of up to ten shades lighter in an hour!
The whitening gel is removed and re-applied depending on the amount of staining or on how dramatic you want the results to be! How long will the results last?- We state that on average the treatment last between 12-18months depending on various factors such as smoking and regularly consuming staining agents.

What causes teeth discolouration?- There are many causes. The most common include ageing, consumption of staining substances. These substances may include coffee, tea, colas, red wine, tobacco, tetracycline (antibiotic) staining, excessive fluoride, nerve degeneration, and old restorations.

How will the treatment effect eating/drinking? - For best results you must avoid dark food or staining agents for the first 72 hours because your teeth will be especially vulnerable to staining.
You should avoid tobacco and any food or beverage that would stain a white your teeth. Some examples are:
Chocolate
Curry
Berries or other dark fruits and sauces
Ketchup
Tomatoes and juices
Red wine
Dark Vegetables
Tea/Coffee
Cola
Food containing colouring
We advise you to only have white food and drink for 72 hours after the treatment or you may stain your teeth again
Smokers must NOT smoke for 24 hours post treatment.
